Our coaches want to give you the support you need. Specialising in treating running injuries, passionate about healthy running and we enjoy working with athletes who are wanting to perform.

Assessing and treating the injured runner

The assessment consists of establishing the diagnoses, clinical reasoning of why the injury happened and what we will address together to achieve injury free running.

Management of the runner

Most running injuries are caused by overuse of certain muscle groups, too much loading too fast and not enough balance in rest and training. Working in alliance with the runner’s coach or physio is an essential part of this management and to create a holistic training approach for each athlete.

Progression

To progress as an athlete a runner's strength and conditioning is key for injury prevention and to optimize performance in the runner.

Treatment of running injuries

A treatment plan consist of exercise as a primary modality addressing the need through scientifically based program prescription. Managing and modifying training load for each runner is an essential part of our treatment plan.

Our programs are prescribed and individualized based on the evaluation and focused on the areas of improvement for each runner.
