Assessing and treating the injured runner

The assessment consist of establishing the diagnoses, clinical reasoning of why the injury happened and what we will address to achieve injury free running.

Management of the runner

Most running injuries are caused by overuse of certain muscle groups, too much loading too fast and not enough balance in rest and training.  Working in alliance with the runner’s coach or physio is an essential part of this management and to create a holistic training approach for each athlete.
